Make an Appointment to See Property
Today's buyers are great at being self-sufficient and usually look for property they are interested in over the internet. Agents like myself are still very happy to search for properties on your behalf and usually have the most current data available through the Multiple Listing Service.
Once you decide you are ready to look at property in person, please make an appoint a day or two in advance if possible. Agents are often available at short notice, but the actual property you want to visit may not be. Many require an appointment, especially if they are occupied. 24-hour notice is a great courtesy.
Lead-time for an appoint will also allow your agent to gather more information about the property, such as the listing history, tax records, and seller's disclosure.
Anxious buyers often wait until the last minute, or even call from the property itself wanting to go inside immediately. While this sometimes can happen and will be accommodated if possible, an appointment assures you the opportunity to get the most information about the property at your visit.
