Waterfront is Still Selling
In previous years the fall and winter lead to a significant drop in waterfront property sales. With the current market and availability of good deals and great interest rates, this year is definitely bucking the trend.
I keep an eye on the best buys around the lake on a regular basis. Just this week about 10 properties went under contract that fall into that category. With our average down to about 15 waterfront properties closing per month this year, that is significant.
If you are thinking about buying or selling, this is a good time. Do not pay too much attention to all the news reports regarding home sells, either good or bad. Every market is different and waterfront is a special category.
